Goals.
Retention of talent in the organization
The development of internal talent is a primary objective for the entity, and for this, the training department prepares training itineraries designed for all groups, including new additions to the workforce. Likewise, a culture of self-development with self-learning supported by innovation is promoted, both in the training content and in the tools included in the platform.
Improve bonus training flow
Improve the training flow for bonus and compulsory courses for the different profiles of the company.
Main employee training channel
Centralize access to all virtual training for the entity's employees, quickly and easily offering the possibility of carrying out the training from any place and from any device with the aim of achieving high rates of completion of the courses by the employees.
Generate customized training itineraries
In addition to the mandatory training that all employees of the entity must complete, CaixaBank seeks that each of them can create their own training itinerary through an extensive catalog of self-training. These courses may be recommended by the role they play in the organization or simply be courses of interest to employees.

Results.
High volume of self-training carried out
Virtaula allows employees to create their own training itinerary, incorporating a wide catalog of self-training and course recommendation tools, depending on the preferences of the employees and the courses taken by similar profiles. Thanks to this, since the start of the self-training, more than 175,000 registrations have been recorded and a pass rate of more than 30%, a very high value given the non-compulsory nature of these courses.
High volumes of training and improvement ratios
On the Virtaula Platform, an average of more than 11,000 training classrooms are being managed annually and almost 4 million hours of training carried out by employees. In addition, the passing rate of the courses is above 80% pass rates.
Training of employees from integrations
The integration of Bankia employees -the last integration carried out- was a success, due to the volume of new employees, more than 15,000, and the record time in which it was carried out. The training plan consisted of 3 phases with a total of about 70 courses to be taken, depending on the area of the employee, within a period of 9 months. Thanks, among other factors, to the Virtaula platform and the work of the Project Office, course completion rates of 95% were achieved in the first two phases and 92% in the third.
